In the Summer of 1984, The Grace Baptist Church in Cairo, IL gave authority to Brother Parvin Hall to start The Grace Baptist Mission in Murray, KY.

We met in several places throughout the years! ​

• 1st meeting place: an old Methodist Church building 

• 2nd: an upstairs room at the radio station

• 3rd: a house 

• 4th: a Store front on 6th street

• 5th: the upstairs of the Woodmen of the World Building…. and while in this place we bought property to build what now is the Faith Baptist Church building.

The church building was finished in 1994, and we were able to meet in the front part of the building while finishing up the auditorium. 

In 1997 we had our first service in the auditorium, then organized the mission work into Faith Baptist Church in October of 1999.
